Long-Term Care
At Golden State Care Center, some residents need longer-term care. We offer nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, social services, and activities to these residents.
Memory Care
Our nurses work with each resident’s family to create a comfortable environment. This environment includes simple routines and visual cues as a positive substitute for diminishing mental processes.
Our staff understands that when someone is diagnosed with the progressive stages of memory loss, they will need continued support and assistance. We also understand that each case is uniquely different and deserves the utmost attention and care.
Social Services
Our social service team assists both patients/residents and their families during transitional periods. We also provide essential information, manage requests and concerns, help in care planning, and manage discharge planning for each resident.
We can arrange professional services for:

- Podiatry
- Audiology
- Dementia assessment
- Psychosocial and Psychiatric Evaluation
- Individual therapy
- Arrange transportation to appointments
- Residents are accompanied to all appointments
Activity Program
A positive and uplifting atmosphere set the tone for a resident’s stay. Golden State Care Center employs outgoing and friendly professional staff to create social programs and activities. They often focus activities to match the capabilities and needs of each resident. This also has a powerful impact in the healing process.
Activity calendars are posted throughout the building to keep patients and their families informed of upcoming events such as birthday parties, movies, musical programs, outings and other special events. Friends and families are always welcome to visit and attend our special events.
