Specializing in the treatment of those with intellectual disabilities, we recognize that our patients come to us with very different and specific rehab needs. Our entire rehabilitation team is committed to creating individualized therapy programs that directly address those specific needs. We encourage each patient to achieve their maximum potential of independence and ability.

Our nursing department provides excellent care combined with dignity for our patients. Professionally staffed around the clock, we strive to offer comfort and specialized care.

Long-Term Care

At Golden State Care Center, we specialize in the treatment of those with a wide range of intellectual disability. We offer our long-term residents nursing services, rehabilitation services, memory care, social services, and activities.

Activities

Activities are client-based and individualized to meet the client’s developmental needs. Residents are provided the opportunity to participate in a full calendar of recreational and social events such as crafts, games, music, and religious programs. Activities promote a resident’s self-esteem and stimulate interpersonal relationships.

Program Services

Whether a resident is admitted for short or long-term care, it signifies a major change in their daily routine. Golden State Care Center’s social service staff is her to help ease the period of adjustment for both residents and families.
